An overview of what we do.

INEX is organized as a non-profit NGO with its main base in Vienna, Austria, and ties to universities and other internationally working organizations in Europe, the US and Central America. Over the last three years alone INEX has created and conducted seven study programs in Costa Rica, enabling over 100 students from a dozen different countries to increase their intercultural knowledge and challenge their views of the world, take part in academic work and contribute to the INEX mission. Now INEX has gone even one step further...

Spreading the wings.
By preparing students for the challenges of a globalized world INEX provides month-long business trainings with top professors and consultants, visits to Central American companies and multinationall corporations, intercultural trainings as well as intensive language trainings in Spanish, the world’s second most spoken language by number of native speakers.

Making the world a better place.
By 2008 INEX has moved beyond the wide-reaching topic of globalization and is now also working on the world’s most provoking topic of the decade: Sustainable Development, and the path needed to reduce mankind’s impact on nature (e.g. to slow down global warming, reduce natural disasters, etc). Realizing the need to fulfil human needs while maintaining the quality of the natural environment INEX focuses on education in all three dimensions of sustainable development (social, environmental and economic) as well as providing real help to people and supporting communities in the challenge of building a world based on sustainable growth and business practice.

A brief insight to who we are.

The International Network for Educational Exchange (INEX) prepares future leaders for the world’s major challenges. It aims at making the world a better place by educating people and sincerely engaging in development projects. Believing that only by creating sustainable environments the world will face a prosper future and healthy growth INEX is spinning a network of educational institutions, corporate partners and other organizations in its quest to contribute to a better tomorrow.
